Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is here and the excitement is very real
Early November means one thing to video games fans – the latest Call of Duty goes on sale. This year it is Infinite Warfare, and for the first time the blockbuster series is heading to outer space as mankind’s search for new resources leads us to the stars and ultimately a war over those new resources.
To mark the game’s launch, and the fact that it comes towards the end of what has been a heavy year for news, Call of Duty’s live action launch trailer embraces the idea of the game as escapism.
Yes, that is a cameo from Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps. As well as the main campaign mode, there’s of course a massive multi-player set-up for players to embrace too, as well as perhaps the most robust zombies spin-off the series has ever produced.
Complete with guest appearances from the likes of David Hasselhoff, Zombies in Spaceland is a 1980s tribute wrapped up in a zombie shooting game. There’s your weekend organised for you.
