Calling all Instagram Foodies – Win a Trip Around the World

Do you spend your dinners out with friends wondering how you can best photograph your soon to be delivered dessert? Do you insist on making your family wait so you can take 100 plus photos of every meal? Do you think you have the best #foodporn pictures on Instagram?

All your food photography training may finally come in handy. The director of Chef’s Table, David Gelb, is searching for the best food-grammers from South Asia to become the official photographers of the highly anticipated season 2.

Your job description: travel to the world’s best restaurants (we’re talking Mexico, Chicago, Slovenia, Brazil, San Francisco) and meet some of the world’s best chefs (Alex Atala, Gaggan Anand, Grant Achatz.)

You’re probably asking, “What’s the catch?” Well, there really isn’t one. It really is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Look on the website of Chef’s Table, a Netflix original, and you’ll find what they’re looking for. “Can you express your love for food through photography? We’re looking for a beautifully set Instagram shot that reveals what food means to you and, of course, makes us drool. The food doesn’t need to be high-brow, pretty or your own; just consider what would make us want to sit down and enjoy the meal with you.”

All you have to do is follow @NetflixAsia on Instagram and post your favorite food pics with the hashtag #MyChefsTable. Just make sure you do it before June 27.

This isn’t the first time Instagram has held a competition/job interviews. Earlier this year, millions of photos were uploaded with the hashtag #grammasters3. The prize was a 2-week, all inclusive trip to visit the latest movie and series film sets, with a salary of $2,000 a week. All you had to do was take some Instagram worthy pictures.
