September 9th. This is the date a man in China will never forget.

On the streets of Fuzhou, traffic was being delayed, and people were gathering while whispering in each other’s ears. All because of a small ruckus put on by a very unusual couple.

Man on dog leash

A girl had her boyfriend tied to a leash, and he was crawling through the city, following her around exactly like an obedient dog would do.

This man, obedient as can be, waited for her commands to walk or stay in place. Every time that he complied with her wishes, he received a pat on the head.

Both, unidentified at the moment, were causing such a commotion that police had to intervene. It took 25 minutes for the police to convince the woman to unleash the man. Seconds later, however, everybody realized it was completely voluntary on his part as he stayed on his hands and knees to continue following her around.

It was only when he was threatened with a fine that he stood up. But even then, he maintained a compliant posture, without looking up and never making eye contact with his girlfriend.

One could only imagine what this guy had done wrong although we could all pretty much guess what he did since the girl declared he was a dog while unleashing him.

This person’s reputation and self-respect are pretty much gone since this incident went viral once it was published on the Chinese social media site Weibo.
