Diet and exercise suck, we all know this. Even though this is an indisputable fact, these annoying concepts remain a huge part of our lives, owing to the profoundly positive effects they can have on the physical and mental health of the participants.

It is only natural that some people, either through lack of luck through more traditional methods, or simply by adopting a non-traditional lifestyle, go on to try approaches that might not make a lot of sense, at least from a scientific point of view.

A diet that is currently trending in Hong Kong decidedly falls into the less scientific side of dieting. The adherents of this diet wake up early every morning to literally stare at the sun. The thought is that by wearing their special glasses, which narrow the suns beam into a pinpoint, the practitioners are able to absorb the solar energy of the sun which, somehow, burns off fat and creates a healthy body.

While the efficacy of this form diet has not been verified in any real capacity there is one point in which the effectiveness remains undeniable. That is; if you end up blinding yourself, you’ll probably find it difficult to eat.
