Working from home is something more and more of us are now doing – partly thanks to improvements in technology that enable us to really be in the office anywhere.

Now Nissan has taken the idea of the “mobile office” and combined it with their knowledge in the world of vehicle design to come up with something eye-catching.

It’s called the e-NV200 WORKSPACe, and as well as being a mobile office, it’s an electric vehicle and one that is fully functioning for work and beyond. As well as desk space there’s a fridge, coffee machine and even a wooden deck for down time at the end of the working day.

The concept design is said to be based around the increasingly popular idea of hot-desking – where workers don’t have a permanent place, instead working from various places or any desk that’s free on any given day.

The added mobility of the WORKSPACe being built into a Nissan van means workers can in theory work anywhere they choose.

There’s no word from Nissan on if or when the set-up could be made more widely available, but the idea of driving to the beach and working while overlooking it is enough to help daydream away the working day.
