These days, almost everything is considered art, and everyone has their favorite type. It could be music, drawings, paintings, or even hair. You read that right. We said hair.
Everything holds beauty in it. You just have to find a way to show it to the world. This is exactly what Wang Xiaojiu, a Chinese barber, has done. This unique barber, located in Jilin City, China, uses his client’s leftover strands of hair to create artwork.
Wang has been in the industry for 16 of his 31 years. Instead of throwing away the fallen hair, he prefers to save it to create portraits of famous characters and cartoons.
He likes to be meticulous with every detail of his work, making some pieces appear in almost a 3D fashion.
Because of this unique approach, he has captivated the attention of the town, bringing him success in his barber business.
Among the characters he has portrayed are the Monkey King popular Chinese character, Spider Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, and even Sailor Moon.
What are his tools?
A brush and a business card are all that he needs. Oh, and a bit of leftover hair.
